– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 1/2 cups uncooked long-grain white rice

– 3 cups chicken broth

– 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

– 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme


– Salt and pepper to taste

– 2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Directions:

1. Cook the Meats: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the pork sausage, ground beef, and chicken livers together until browned and cooked through. Drain off any excess fat.

2. Sauté the Vegetables: Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, celery, and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.

3. Add Rice and Broth: Stir the uncooked rice into the meat and vegetable mixture. Pour in the chicken broth, then add the Cajun seasoning, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
