Honey Butter Sweet Alabama Pecanbread
Ingredients:
– 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
– 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 1 cup brown sugar
– 1 cup vegetable oil
– 4 large eggs, beaten
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 cup honey
– 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray .
2. In a bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, beaten eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth .
3. Gradually add the self-rising flour and salt, stirring until just blended .
4. Mix in the vanilla extract, honey, and melted butter, then gently fold in the chopped pecans .
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly .
6. Bake for 30β35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean .
7. Allow the Pecanbread to cool in the dish for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving .
