Homemade Spaghetti Sauce with Ground Beef
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
1 6 oz can tomato paste
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
1 Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until softened.
2 Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.
3 Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and tomato sauce. Mix well.
4 Season with basil, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer the sauce on low heat for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
5 Serve over cooked spaghetti and garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!
