Grandmothers Buttermilk Cornbread

Ingredients:
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
cup sugar
蓼 1 tsp salt
籠 1 tbsp baking powder
讀 1 egg
拏 1 cup buttermilk
杻 cup melted butter
Instructions:
1 Preheat oven to 375F 190C and grease a 9-inch baking pan.
2 In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
3 In another bowl, whisk egg, buttermilk, and melted butter.
4 Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed dont overmix!.
5 Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 mins until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
Serve warm with butter, honey, or your favorite jam! 杻
