Ingredients:
– 10 oz 285 g dark chocolate, chopped
– cup 170 g unsalted butter
– 1 cups 300 g sugar
– 3 large eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– cup 95 g all-purpose flour
– cup 30 g cocoa powder
– 1 tsp salt
– cup 120 ml salted caramel sauce store-bought or homemade
– Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Steps:
1 Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2 In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
3 Whisk in the sugar, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
4 Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and fold until just combined.
5 Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
6 Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the batter, then top with the remaining brownie batter.
7 Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly gooey.
8 Once out of the oven, sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Let cool before cutting into squares.
