Egg Sandwich

A simple, satisfying sandwich with a perfectly cooked egg, ideal for any meal of the day!

Ingredients:

2 slices of bread white, whole wheat, or your choice

1 large egg

1 tbsp butter

Salt and pepper to taste

1 slice of cheese optional

1 tbsp mayonnaise or mustard optional


Instructions:

Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Crack the egg into the skillet and cook to your liking sunny side up, scrambled, over-easy, etc.. Season with salt and pepper.

While the egg cooks, toast the bread slices.

If desired, spread mayonnaise or mustard on the toasted bread.

Once the egg is cooked, place it on one slice of bread. Top with a slice of cheese optional.

Add the second slice of bread and serve immediately.
