Easy Spaghetti Pie
Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti, cooked and drained
1/2 lb ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 24 oz jar marinara sauce
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil for cooking
Instructions:
1 Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9-inch pie dish or deep-dish pan.
2 In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook ground beef or turkey with the chopped onion and garlic until browned and softened. Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
3 In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, and eggs. Season with salt and pepper.
4 In the prepared pie dish, mix the cooked spaghetti with the cheese mixture, then top with the meat sauce.
5 Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and set.
6 Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
