Easy Pavlova

A light, airy meringue dessert topped with whipped cream and fresh fruits!

Ingredients:

4 large egg whites room temperature

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp white vinegar

1 tsp cornstarch

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

2 tbsp powdered sugar


Assorted fresh fruits e.g., berries, kiwi, mango, or passionfruit

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 300F 150C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and draw a 7-inch circle as a guide.

In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating until the mixture is glossy and stiff peaks form.

Gently fold in the vinegar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract.

Spoon the meringue onto the parchment, shaping it into a round with slightly raised edges to create a nest for the toppings.

Bake for 1 hour, then turn off the oven and let the meringue cool completely inside with the door slightly open.

While the meringue cools, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.

Once cooled, top the meringue with whipped cream and garnish with fresh fruits. Serve immediately!
