Easy Homemade Pasta
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour plus extra for dusting
3 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil optional
Instructions:
1 On a clean surface or in a large mixing bowl, make a mound with the flour and create a well in the center.
2 Crack the eggs into the well, add salt, and olive oil if using. Gently beat the eggs with a fork, gradually incorporating the flour from the edges.
3 Knead the dough with your hands for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
4 Roll out the dough on a floured surface or use a pasta machine to your desired thickness. Cut into your preferred shape e.g., fettuccine, linguine, or lasagna sheets.
5 Cook in boiling salted water for 2-4 minutes, depending on the thickness. Serve with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
