Easy Glazed Pork Chops
Ingredients:
– 4 boneless pork chops 1-inch thick
– 1 teaspoon salt
– teaspoon black pepper
– teaspoon garlic powder
– teaspoon paprika
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– cup honey
– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce
– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
Directions:
1. Season the Pork Chops: Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel. In a small bowl, mix the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each pork chop.
2. Sear the Pork Chops: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and have a nice crust. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and set them aside.
3. Prepare the Glaze: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and minced garlic. Stir everything together, and let the glaze simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
4. Glaze the Pork Chops: Return the seared pork chops to the skillet. Spoon the glaze over the pork chops, and let them cook in the sauce for 2-3 more minutes, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145F 63C.
5. Serve: Remove the pork chops from the skillet and drizzle any remaining glaze over the top. Serve hot with your favorite sides, like mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
