Dump Cake
An easy and delicious dessert with no mixingjust “”””dump”””” and bake!
Ingredients:
1 can 21 oz fruit pie filling such as cherry, peach, or apple
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter cut into slices
Optional: Chopped nuts or shredded coconut
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Spread the fruit pie filling evenly in the bottom of the pan.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit filling. Do not mix.
Arrange slices of butter over the top of the cake mix.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit filling is bubbling.
Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if desired.
