Drunken Shrimp

Succulent shrimp cooked in a bold and aromatic sauce made with wine, garlic, and herbsa flavorful seafood delight!

Ingredients:

1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined, tails on

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic minced

1/2 cup white wine dry

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional

1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped


Salt and pepper to taste

Crusty bread for serving, optional

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes if using and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink. Remove and set aside.

Pour the white wine into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, letting the wine reduce slightly.

Stir in the lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper. Return the shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Serve hot with crusty bread for soaking up the delicious sauce.
