北 Ingredients:

1 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

cup cocoa powder

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

cup butter, softened

cup sugar

teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt


2 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup hot water

cup vegetable oil

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 180C. Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In another bowl, beat the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.

Add the oil and mix until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients, alternating with the milk, and mix until just combined.

Slowly pour in the hot water and stir until smooth. The batter will be thin, but thats okay!

Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
