Crockpot Chicken & Gravy Ingredients: 4

Crockpot Chicken & Gravy

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

1 packet 1 oz ranch dressing seasoning mix

1 packet 1 oz onion soup mix

1 can 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup

1 cup chicken broth or water

1/4 cup butter optional, for extra richness

Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Prepare the Chicken:

Place the chicken breasts or thighs in the bottom of your Crockpot.

Make the Gravy:

In a bowl, mix together the ranch seasoning, onion soup mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until well combined.

Add Gravy to Crockpot:

Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken, ensuring that the chicken is fully covered. If using, dot the top with butter for added flavor and creaminess. Season with salt and pepper as desired.

Slow Cook:

Cover the Crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender enough to shred easily.

Shred the Chicken:

Once the chicken is done, use two forks to shred it directly in the Crockpot, or leave it whole if you prefer. Stir the shredded chicken into the gravy, or leave the gravy chunky based on your preference.

Serve:

Spoon the Crockpot Chicken & Gravy over mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or biscuits. Pair with a side of vegetables for a complete, comforting meal.
