24 chocolate sandwich cookies like Oreos
4 oz cream cheese, softened
8 oz white chocolate, melted
Optional: Sprinkles or additional crushed cookies for topping
Instructions
Crush the Cookies: In a food processor, pulse the chocolate sandwich cookies until they are fine crumbs. If you dont have a food processor, you can place the cookies in a zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin.
Make the Filling: In a large bowl, mix the cookie crumbs with the softened cream cheese until fully combined and smooth.
Form the Truffles: Roll the mixture into small balls about 1-inch in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Chill: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to firm up the truffles.
Dip in Chocolate: Once the truffles are firm, dip each one into the melted white chocolate, making sure to coat them evenly. Place them back on the parchment paper.
Decorate: Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle the truffles with additional crushed cookies or sprinkles if desired.
Set and Serve: Allow the chocolate to set completely before serving. Enjoy your delicious, homemade truffles!
