Chicken Pot Pie Pasta
Ingredients:
– 8 oz penne pasta
– 2 tbsp unsalted butter
– 1 small onion, diced
– 2 carrots, diced
– 2 celery stalks, diced
– 2 garlic cloves, minced
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 1 cup milk
– 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
– 1 cup frozen peas
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1 sheet puff pastry
– 1 egg, beaten
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F 190C. Cook pasta.
2. Sauté vegetables, add flour, broth, milk, and chicken.
3. Combine pasta with sauce, top with puff pastry.
4. Bake 25-30 mins until golden.
