Chicken Pasta in Creamy White Wine

Chicken Pasta in Creamy White Wine Parmesan Cheese Sauce

Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 1 teaspoon paprika

– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1/2 cup dry white wine

– 1 1/2 cups heavy cream

– 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice

– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Directions:

1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the sliced chicken breasts with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

4. Add Cream and Parmesan: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes, then gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring constantly until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.

5. Combine Everything: Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of pasta water to loosen it. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring to combine with the pasta and sauce. Add red pepper flakes for a little heat if desired.

6. Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve the chicken pasta hot. Enjoy the creamy, cheesy goodness!
