Chef Johns Patatas Bravas
Ingredients:
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt, to taste
1 cup tomato sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1 Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. Toss the potato chunks in olive oil and a pinch of salt. Spread them in a single layer on a baking sheet.
2 Roast the potatoes for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
3 While the potatoes roast, make the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine tomato sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper if using. Simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.
4 Once the potatoes are ready, drizzle the sauce over them and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot and enjoy!
