Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

2 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced bell pepper

1/2 cup diced onion

1 cup cooked chicken sausage, crumbled or plant-based sausage

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp salt


1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

1 Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2 Spread the thawed hash browns evenly across the bottom of the dish.

3 Layer the cooked chicken sausage, diced bell pepper, and diced onion over the hash browns.

4 Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

5 In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture over the layers in the baking dish.

6 Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the casserole is set and golden on top.

7 Let cool slightly before serving.
