Ingredients:

For the donuts:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground cloves

3/4 cup canned pumpkin puree

2 large eggs

1/4 cup melted butter

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the maple glaze:

1 cup powdered sugar

2 tbsp maple syrup

1-2 tbsp milk, as needed

Directions:

Preheat Oven and Prep Pan: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Lightly grease a donut pan or use a non-stick spray.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and cloves.

Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, eggs, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.

Create Batter: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.

Fill Donut Pan: Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.

Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the donuts comes out clean. Let the donuts cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Make the Maple Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, and milk until smooth. Adjust the milk for desired thickness.
