Hot Buffalo Chicken, Bacon, and Cheese Sandwich
A spicy, hearty sandwich with tender buffalo chicken, crispy bacon, and melted cheesean ultimate combo for heat lovers!
Ingredients:
2 slices of hoagie or sandwich roll
1 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 slices of bacon
1/4 cup buffalo sauce
2 slices cheddar cheese or your preferred cheese
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp hot sauce optional, for extra heat
Lettuce or coleslaw optional, for crunch
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the bacon until crispy in a skillet or oven. Set aside on paper towels to drain.
Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper. Grill or cook in a skillet over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked.
Once the chicken is cooked, shred it or slice it into strips, then toss it in buffalo sauce.
Toast the sandwich rolls until lightly golden.
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of the sandwich roll and add a few dashes of hot sauce if desired.
Layer the buffalo chicken on top, add the crispy bacon, then top with a slice of cheese.
Place the sandwich in a skillet or under the broiler for 2-3 minutes to melt the cheese.
Add lettuce or coleslaw if you like, then top with the second slice of bread and serve hot!
