An indulgent, rich, and heavenly dessert using German Chocolate Cake Mix!
Ingredients:
1 box German chocolate cake mix plus ingredients needed to prepare it
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 jar 12 oz caramel sauce
1 tub 8 oz whipped topping like Cool Whip
1/2 cup toffee bits
1/2 cup chocolate chips optional
Instructions:
Prepare the German chocolate cake mix as directed on the box. Bake in a 9×13-inch pan.
While the cake is still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the surface.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
Next, drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the cake.
Allow the cake to cool completely before spreading the whipped topping over the top.
Sprinkle with toffee bits and chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
