Better Than
A decadent and indulgent dessert loaded with rich flavors and textures!
Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix plus ingredients needed to prepare it
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 jar 12 oz caramel or butterscotch sauce
1 tub 8 oz whipped topping like Cool Whip
1/2 cup toffee bits or chopped candy bars, like Heath or Skor
Optional: Chocolate syrup or additional caramel for drizzling
Instructions:
Prepare the chocolate cake mix according to the package instructions and bake in a 9×13-inch pan. Let the cake cool slightly.
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, letting it soak into the holes.
Drizzle the caramel sauce over the cake and spread it evenly. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Once cooled, spread the whipped topping over the entire cake.
Sprinkle the toffee bits evenly over the top.
For extra indulgence, drizzle with chocolate syrup or additional caramel before serving. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
