Breakfast Sausage Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
1 package 8 rolls refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 breakfast sausage links cooked
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon parsley chopped, optional for garnish
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
Place one cooked sausage link at the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese over the sausage.
Roll up the crescent dough tightly, starting at the wide end and working your way to the tip. Place each roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the butter mixture over the top of each roll.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with parsley, if desired. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or as is.
