Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake
Ingredients:
2 cans 21 oz each strawberry pie filling
1 box 15.25 oz white or vanilla cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup crushed graham crackers optional, for topping
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the prepared dish.
In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Dollop and gently spread the cream cheese mixture over the strawberry filling.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the strawberry and cream cheese layers.
Drizzle the melted butter evenly across the top of the cake mix, ensuring it covers as much of the surface as possible.
If desired, sprinkle crushed graham crackers over the top for added texture and flavor.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Allow the dump cake to cool slightly before serving. Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
