Honey-Glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
Ingredients:
1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Directions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 400F 200C.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Prepare the Brussels Sprouts:
In a large bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Roast with Bacon:
Spread the Brussels sprouts on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Sprinkle the chopped bacon evenly over the top.
Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Make the Honey Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, balsamic vinegar, and Dijon mustard.
Glaze & Finish Roasting:
Drizzle the honey glaze over the Brussels sprouts and bacon.
Toss gently and roast for another 5-10 minutes, until caramelized and crispy.
Serve & Enjoy:
Remove from oven, sprinkle with red pepper flakes if using, and serve immediately.
