Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
1 cup heavy cream
cup chicken broth
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon dried thyme
teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Reduce heat to medium and add remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, honey, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes.
Simmer sauce for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over the top, and let simmer for 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
