Tender Steak Bites in Parmesan Cream Sauce

Ingredients:

1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish


Directions:

Season steak bites generously with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. Once hot, sear the steak bites in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook for 12 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter and sauté garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.

Add crushed red pepper flakes if using. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the sauce for 12 minutes to coat and warm through.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
