Garlic Butter Beef and Spinach Tortellini
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
3 cups cheese tortellini fresh or refrigerated
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups baby spinach
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
teaspoon Italian seasoning
cup grated Parmesan cheese
cup heavy cream optional, for extra creaminess
Red pepper flakes to taste optional
Directions:
Cook tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
Add butter and garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 12 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in spinach and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.
Add cooked tortellini to the skillet. Toss to combine.
Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
Stir in Parmesan and heavy cream if a creamier texture is desired. Cook another 12 minutes until heated through.
Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
