Ice Cream Cake
A cool and creamy dessert thats perfect for any celebration!
Ingredients:
1 box of your favorite cake mix plus ingredients needed to prepare it
1 quart ice cream any flavor, softened
1 cup whipped topping like Cool Whip
Optional: Sprinkles, chocolate syrup, or crushed cookies for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the cake mix as directed on the box and bake in two 9-inch round pans. Let the cakes cool completely.
Line one of the cooled cake layers in the pan with plastic wrap or parchment paper. Spread the softened ice cream evenly over the top to form an even layer. Place the second cake layer on top.
Cover and freeze the cake for at least 3-4 hours, or until the ice cream is firm.
Remove from the freezer and spread whipped topping over the entire cake.
Decorate with sprinkles, chocolate syrup, or crushed cookies as desired.
Return the cake to the freezer for 30 minutes to set the topping. Serve chilled and enjoy!
