For this simple and delicious recipe from my aunt, salmon is baked in a flavorful lemon dill butter sauce. The combination of flavors enhances the fish beautifully. I prefer using wild Alaskan salmon, but any variety will work. I don’t typically measure, so these amounts are approximate—feel free to adjust the ingredients to your taste!
Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon fillets
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- 5 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- sea salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
