M&M Cheesecake with Chocolate Covered Pretzel Crust

泌 This decadent cheesecake combines creamy filling with a sweet-and-salty pretzel crust, chocolate, and bursts of M&Msperfect for a fun and indulgent treat!

Ingredients:

For the Crust:

6 cups pretzels, crushed about 2 cups of fine crumbs 泌

1/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup melted butter 杻

1 cup milk chocolate chips or chopped chocolate

For the Cheesecake:

3 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, softened 燎

1 cup sour cream 拏

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

4 eggs, lightly beaten 讀

1 1/2 cups M&Ms

Instructions:

1 Prepare the Crust:


Preheat the oven to 300F 150C.

Crush the pretzels using a food processor if available to make about 2 cups of fine crumbs.

Combine the crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch springform pan.

Sprinkle with chocolate chips and bake for about 10 minutes, or until chocolate chips are melted. Spread evenly over the crust, then place in the freezer to chill.

2 Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:

In a large bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar until smooth.

Add the vanilla and eggs, mixing until just combined.

Pour the filling into the chilled crust.

3 Bake the Cheesecake:

Bake for 40 minutes, then remove from the oven and sprinkle M&Ms on top.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 40 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set about 1 1/2 inches from the edge. If needed, bake slightly longer.

4 Cool the Cheesecake:

Turn off the oven and leave the door slightly open. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about 30 minutes to prevent cracking.

Remove from the oven and cool for an additional 30 minutes before refrigerating for at least 6 hours or overnight.

5 Serve:

Top with whipped cream and additional M&Ms before serving. Enjoy the sweet, salty, and crunchy delight!
