Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bars
These delicious bars combine a chocolate chip cookie crust with a creamy cheesecake center, finished off with a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough on top. Perfect for any sweet craving!
Ingredients:
40 oz refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
16 oz cream cheese, softened 燎
1 large egg, room temperature 讀
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice, optional
Instructions:
1 Prep and Preheat:
Place the cookie dough in the freezer for a few hours.
Preheat oven to 350F 175C.
Line a 13×9″” pan with parchment paper or non-stick foil.
2 Cookie Dough Crust:
Slice half of the cookie dough into 1/4″” slices and layer them on the bottom of the prepared pan.
Press the cookie dough slices together to form an even crust.
Bake the crust for 10 minutes.
3 Prepare Cheesecake Filling:
While the crust is baking, beat softened cream cheese, egg, sugar, and vanilla extract together on medium speed until smooth.
4 Assemble Bars:
Spread the cheesecake filling over the warm crust as soon as it comes out of the oven.
Slice the remaining cookie dough and place pieces over the cheesecake layer.
5 Bake and Chill:
Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes, or until the cheesecake layer is set.
Cool the bars completely, then refrigerate before serving.
