Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake

A creamy cheesecake loaded with chocolate chips and delicious chunks of cookie dough!

Ingredients:

Cookie Dough:

cup butter, softened 杻

cup sugar

cup packed light brown sugar

2 tablespoons milk 拏

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt 蓼

1 cup mini chocolate chips

Crust:

4 tablespoons melted butter 杻

2 1/2 cups graham cracker or chocolate cookie crumbs

Cheesecake Filling:

4 packages 8 oz each cream cheese, softened 燎

1 cup sugar

4 large eggs 讀

1 teaspoon all-purpose flour


1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup sour cream 籠

Garnish:

1 cup heavy whipping cream 拏

1/3 cup powdered sugar

Mini chocolate chips, for sprinkling

Instructions:

1 Prepare the Cookie Dough:

In a bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Add flour, salt, and mini chocolate chips, mixing until combined. Roll into small balls and place on a wax paper-lined plate. Freeze while preparing the cheesecake.

2 Make the Crust:

Grease a 10-inch springform pan. Combine melted butter with graham cracker or chocolate cookie crumbs, then press onto the bottom and halfway up the sides of the pan.

3 Make the Cheesecake Filling:

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and flour until smooth. Mix in vanilla and sour cream until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

4 Assemble the Cheesecake:

Pour half the cheesecake batter into the crust. Gently fold the frozen cookie dough balls and additional chocolate chips into the remaining batter, then pour into the pan.

5 Bake:

Bake at 325F 160C for 1 hour. Turn off the oven, prop the door open, and allow the cheesecake to sit for an additional 30 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack, then refrigerate ideally overnight.

6 Garnish and Serve:

Whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Slice the cheesecake, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with mini chocolate chips. Enjoy!
