Lemon Condensed Milk Drizzle Cake
Ingredients:
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk 拏
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 杻
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3 large eggs 讀
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp lemon zest
1/2 cup milk 拏
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder 籠
1/2 tsp salt 蓼
Lemon Drizzle:
1 cup powdered sugar
2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Lemon zest for garnish
Instructions:
1 Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
2 In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add condensed milk and mix until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in lemon juice, zest, and milk.
3 Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into a separate bowl. Gradually add to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
4 Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
5 Cool the cake for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
6 Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make the drizzle. Pour the drizzle over the cooled cake and garnish with lemon zest.
Notes:
For extra lemon flavor, poke holes in the warm cake and pour half of the drizzle over it before cooling.
