Jerk Steak & Shrimp over Yellow Rice
A flavorful and savory dish with seasoned steak and shrimp, cooked to perfection and served over fluffy yellow rice.
Ingredients:
1 lb Angus Steak or Boneless Beef Tri-Tip, cut into cubes
1 lb Large Shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 cup Red & Green Bell Peppers, sliced
1 cup Chicken Broth or Water
2 tsp Jerk Seasoning
1 tsp Creole Seasoning
1 tsp Salt & Cracked Black Pepper 蓼
1/8 tsp Honey
1 tbsp Butter 杻
1 tbsp Oil

Instructions:
1 Cook the Steak: Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the cubed steak to the pan and cook undisturbed for 3 minutes. Flip the steak pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 7-8 minutes. Remove the steak and set aside.
2 Season the Shrimp: In a bowl, season the shrimp with jerk and creole seasonings. Mix well until shrimp are evenly coated.
3 Cook the Shrimp: Add butter to the pan and cook the seasoned shrimp for 1 minute on each side. Drizzle with honey and cook for another minute. Remove the shrimp from the pan.
4 Sauté the Bell Peppers: In the same pan, add the sliced bell peppers and cook for about 3 minutes until softened. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.
5 Combine Steak & Shrimp: Return the steak and shrimp to the pan. Toss together.
6 Simmer: Add chicken broth or water and remaining seasonings. Lower the heat to medium-low and simmer to enhance flavors.
7 Serve: Serve the jerk steak and shrimp over a bed of yellow rice. Garnish with green onions, cracked black pepper, and cilantro if desired.
