Golden Crispy Chicken with Parmesan Mushroom Sauce
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 燎
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter 杻
1 cup mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream 拏
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 燎
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions:
1 Prepare the Chicken:
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge each piece in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with a mixture of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
2 Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden and crispy, approximately 5-6 minutes on each side. Once cooked, set aside.
3 Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced mushrooms and garlic, cooking until mushrooms soften. Pour in the chicken broth, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes.
4 Add Cream and Parmesan:
Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, letting the sauce thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5 Combine:
Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the creamy mushroom sauce over the top, and garnish with fresh parsley.
6 Serve:
Serve the chicken hot, generously topped with sauce. Enjoy!
