Mini Pepperoni Pizza Toasts
Ingredients:
8 slices of bread French or Italian loaf works best
1 cup marinara sauce or pizza sauce
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
16 slices pepperoni
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried oregano
Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Grated Parmesan cheese optional
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 200C 400F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Brush both sides of the bread slices lightly with olive oil and place them on the tray.
3. Spread a spoonful of marinara sauce on each slice, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
4. Place 2 slices of pepperoni on each toast and sprinkle with dried oregano.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan, if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
