Fresh Cranberry Cake

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup milk

2 cups fresh cranberries


Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C and grease a 9-inch round or square cake pan.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined.
