1 8 oz package wide egg noodles
1 lb lean ground beef
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
tsp black pepper
tsp garlic salt
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chopped green onions
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions:
Cook egg noodles in boiling salted water, then drain and rinse with cold water.
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C.
In a skillet, brown the ground beef in butter. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, and the meat sauce. Mix well.
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish.
Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese evenly on top.
