Ingredients:
– 1 pound ground beef

– 24 ounces marinara sauce
– 15 ounces ricotta cheese
– 1 large egg
– 9 lasagna noodles
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
– 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
– Salt, to taste
– Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375F 190C.
2. In a large pan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes. Stir in the marinara sauce and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
3. In a medium bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, egg, and parsley until well combined.
4. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
5. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by of the mozzarella cheese, and of the parmesan cheese. Repeat layers two more times, ending with a layer of meat sauce and the remaining parmesan.
6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 25 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
7. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
