Ingredients
1 can refrigerated pizza dough
pound ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro optional
Salsa, guacamole, or sour cream for dipping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400F 200C.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain the excess fat, then add the taco seasoning mix according to the package instructions. Set aside to cool slightly.
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle.
Evenly spread the cooked taco meat over half of the dough, then sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheeses on top.
Fold the other half of the dough over the meat and cheese, pressing down the edges to seal.
Cut the dough into strips about 12 and twist each strip before placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops of the breadsticks with melted butter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the breadsticks are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro, if desired, and serve warm with your favorite dips.
