Baked Lobster Tails
Ingredients:
– 4 lobster tails
– 1/4 cup butter, melted
– 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
– 4 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
– Lemon wedges for serving
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
2. Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut down the top shell of each lobster tail, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat out, resting it on top of the shell while still attached at the base.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
4. Brush the Lobster Tails: Generously brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter sauce, making sure the lobster is well-coated.
5. Bake the Lobster Tails: Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and slightly firm.
6. Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve with extra lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the lobster.
