Cheeseburger Garbage Bread
Ingredients:
– 1 pound ground beef
– 1 small onion, diced
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– 1 tablespoon ketchup
– 1 tablespoon mustard
– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
– 1 pound pizza dough
– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
– 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled optional
– 1 egg, beaten for brushing
– Sesame seeds optional
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat, then season with salt and pepper. Stir in the ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about inch thick.
4. Add Filling: Evenly spread the cooked beef mixture over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon if using over the beef.
5. Roll the Dough: Carefully roll the dough up, starting from one long side, like a jelly roll. Pinch the seams and ends to seal the bread.
6. Brush and Top: Place the rolled dough seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
8. Serve: Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing into thick pieces. Serve with extra ketchup, mustard, or your favorite dipping sauces. Enjoy this cheesy, beefy goodness!
