Ingredients:

1 box 15.25 oz lemon cake mix

1 can 15 oz lemon pie filling

4 large eggs

1 tub 8 oz whipped topping Cool Whip

1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh lemon slices or zest optional, for garnish


Directions:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

Prepare the Cake Batter: In a large bowl, combine the lemon cake mix, lemon pie filling, and eggs. Mix until well combined and smooth.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan.
