Hocus Pocus Cookies
Ingredients:
– 1 can 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough
– 8 large marshmallows
– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
Directions:
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Prepare Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together. Set aside.
3. Roll the Dough: Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into 8 triangles. Place a marshmallow at the wide end of each triangle.
4. Wrap the Marshmallow: Roll up each triangle of dough around the marshmallow, pinching the edges to seal completely. Make sure the marshmallow is fully enclosed to prevent leaks.
5. Coat with Butter and Cinnamon Sugar: Brush each dough-wrapped marshmallow with melted butter, then roll it in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
6. Bake: Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and puffed up.
7. Cool and Dust: Allow the cookies to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then dust them with powdered sugar before serving.
