Mummy Hot Dogs Ingredients: 8 hot

Mummy Hot Dogs

Ingredients:

8 hot dogs use beef, chicken, or pork

1 can 8 ounces refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard or ketchup for decoration

1 egg beaten, for egg wash

Candy eyes optional, for decoration

Directions:

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare Dough Strips: Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into rectangles. Pinch the perforations together to seal, then use a knife or pizza cutter to cut each rectangle into thin strips about inch wide.

Wrap the Hot Dogs: Take one hot dog and begin wrapping it with the dough strips, leaving a small gap at one end for the “”face”” of the mummy. Continue wrapping until the entire hot dog is covered, with some overlap to create a bandaged effect. Repeat with the remaining hot dogs.

Apply Egg Wash: Brush the dough-wrapped hot dogs with the beaten egg to give them a nice golden finish.

Bake: Place the wrapped hot dogs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Decorate the Mummies: Once baked, remove the hot dogs from the oven and let them cool slightly. Add mustard or ketchup to the gap left for the face to attach the candy eyes optional. You can also use mustard to draw little eyes if you dont have candy eyes.

Serve: Serve these spooky mummy hot dogs with extra mustard or ketchup for dipping. Perfect for Halloween parties or a fun meal with the kids!
