Classic Butter Cake
Ingredients:
1 cup 220g salted butter, room temperature
1 cup 220g caster sugar
1 tbsp vegetable oil canola or similar
5 large eggs
1 cups 220g all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
cup 112g buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat oven to 150C 302F with fan. Grease and line a cake tin.
Cream butter, sugar, and oil.
Add eggs, then alternate flour and buttermilk.
Bake for 1 hour.
