Ingredients:
For the French Toast:
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup canned pumpkin puree

8 slices of thick bread preferably Texas toast

1 cup maple syrup
cup canned pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
Make the Pumpkin Pie French Toast Mixture:
In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
Soak the Bread:
Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated and soaked for a few seconds.
Cook the French Toast:
Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter or non-stick spray. Cook the soaked bread slices for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn golden brown.
Prepare the Homemade Pumpkin Syrup:
