Easy Cool Whip Candy
Ingredients:
1 8-ounce container of Cool Whip, thawed
1 package 3.4 ounces instant pudding mix any flavor
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Food coloring optional
Sprinkles or colored sugar optional, for decoration
Directions:
Mix Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the thawed Cool Whip, instant pudding mix, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer or stir by hand until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
Add Food Coloring Optional: If you want to add color to your candy, mix in a few drops of food coloring. Stir until evenly blended.
Prepare the Tray: Line a baking sheet or large tray with parchment or wax paper to prevent the candy from sticking.
Portion the Candy: Use a spoon or cookie scoop to drop small portions of the Cool Whip mixture onto the prepared tray. Shape each portion as desired.
Decorate: Add sprinkles or colored sugar on top of each portion for a festive touch, if desired.
Freeze: Place the tray in the freezer and let the candy set for 2-3 hours, or until firm.
Serve and Store: Once firm, remove the candies from the freezer and enjoy immediately. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer to maintain texture.
